Graduation

Emilee graduated from Kindergarten this morning. She was really excited and asked if she could wear her special red polka-dotted dress. Even though it was only 40 degrees outside and raining, how could I resist such a sweet face. Emilee also got an award for faithful attendance (I think they got that wrong but what will it hurt?). None of my pictures from the actual graduation ceremony turned out. They were all too dark or blurry (big frown!). Emilee's favorite thing about Kindergarten was going out to recess (big suprise). Emilee said she will miss Kindergarten and her teacher, Ms. Ochoa, but she is really excited for 1st grade. She says that she is most excited to make new friends in 1st grade. Mom is excited for 1st grade because that will be 2 kids in school all day!! Yeah for me. Now I just have to get through the summer.

For A Healthy Glow

Who Knew that pear flavored applesauce was good for the skin? I will have to try it someday. Too bad Logan used the last one.

Worn Out

Isaac was outside 'helping' Daddy and Papa build the gates for the fence and I guess they wore him out! He woke sat up once and said "Cheese" while I was taking pictures but his eyes never opened.

A Fence!!

Even though we live with a major highway in front of our house and a canal behind it, I never thought we needed a fence. My boys have changed that. I always trusted my girls to stay away from the road and canal, but my boys are just to curious and, well, too much like mischevious little boys. So Nathan built a fence with help from Nana, Papa, Uncle Matt, and Uncle Stephen. They all had a good reason to get it done fast because I said Nathan couldn't go paintballing until the fence was done and there were steps out of my back door. It only took them a week to finish it all! Now I just have to wait for the grass to grow and then the "Kid Cage" will be completely finished and I can send the kids outside and not have to follow them out! That makes for one happy mom!
