Yellowstone Park

Our kids love to take drives in the Durango (surprisingly, Logan loves it the most) so we decided to take a day trip up to Yellowstone this week. Nathan and the kids at Norris Geyser Basin.
Messy faced Logan. It is hard to see how messy he is but we gave him a Laffy Taffy stick and he ended up really sticky and messy. Happy, but sticky and messy.
Logan and Dad at Old Faithful.
What cute kids!!!
Walking around at Old Faithful. We got tons of comments on Logan and his leash. Everybody loved it and thought he was adorable. Some comments were told to us directly and we overheard others as we would walk by. Some people were even taking pictures of him. At Old Faithful and Japanese guy even stopped us so he could take a picture of Logan. It was hilarious.
Isaac checking out the Buffalo with his binoculars. Notice he is holding them the wrong way.
We were lucky and saw two grizzly bears about 10 miles apart. This one wasn't very big and we wonder if it was a cub and the mom was somewhere close too. The other one we saw was farther away and really hard to see without binoculars so I didn't get a picture of it but it was huge and eating a montrous elk. It was pretty cool to see.

Isaac's Yoga

A couple of weeks ago we bought a Wii Fit. It is a blast. Even the kids love to do the games and exercises. Isaac especially loves the yoga. Here a few yoga poses that Isaac does. The Warrior.
The Tree.
Sun Salutation.
Doesn't he have amazing form? Haha!

Happy 4th of July!!

Setting off fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids thought they were pretty cool. Even the little Pop Its got them excited.
Carter and Logan. Playing in the back of Grandpa's truck is the best!
This is one of my favorite pictures even if I am in it! Isaac looks so excited and happy! And he was excited for the fireworks until...
they actually started. Then he wasn't so thrilled. He thought they were too loud so he covered his ears the whole time. Even when he fell asleep towards the end of them he kept his ears plugged!
Logan loved the fireworks. He kept saying 'Whoa' and yelling out the colors he saw. So what if the only color he ever got right was green. It was cute anyway!
Kenna and Emi at the parade. They were really good and stayed right in front of me even though all of the other kids went down the road a little ways. I was really proud of them for listening to me and not complaining about it.
Logan and Isaac. Logan sat in the stroller the whole time! No whining to get out! It was amazing.
Isaac hid between my legs for alot of the parade. He was scared of all the loud sounds. I guess that made it easy for me because I didn't have to chase him around. He stayed REALLY close to Mom just like she asked him to!
Emilee, Niyah, and McKenna. What cute girls!

Trampoline!

Logan helping Daddy put up the new trampoline. He was so excited! He loves to jump on Grandma and Grandpa's tramp.
Kenna and Logan getting springs to hand to Daddy.
Isaac and Logan jumping on the new tramp for the first time.
Even Papa got in on the action. It has been a while since he has jumped on any trampoline. Probably since I was little and we had one, which was at least 16 years ago! Papa didn't last long, he got off pretty quick!

Froggie!

Kiss the frog Kenna! Maybe it will turn into a prince!
Emilee
Logan
Isaac petting the frog. (I didn't get a pic of him holding it)
Nathan was mowing the lawn on Monday and he found a frog in the grass! I have lived here basically my whole life and never seen a frog here. My mom said she hasn't ever seen one here either. All of my kids wanted to pet it and hold it, even Emilee and McKenna.

Chocolate Pudding

CHEESE!
He is such a ham!
This is what happens when an almost 2 year old finds the chocolate pudding his brother left on the table! I guess he enjoyed the pudding and the bath afterwards. Mommy didn't enjoy cleaning up the table though.
