Yellowstone Park

Our kids love to take drives in the Durango (surprisingly, Logan loves it the most) so we decided to take a day trip up to Yellowstone this week. Nathan and the kids at Norris Geyser Basin.
Messy faced Logan. It is hard to see how messy he is but we gave him a Laffy Taffy stick and he ended up really sticky and messy. Happy, but sticky and messy.
Logan and Dad at Old Faithful.
What cute kids!!!
Walking around at Old Faithful. We got tons of comments on Logan and his leash. Everybody loved it and thought he was adorable. Some comments were told to us directly and we overheard others as we would walk by. Some people were even taking pictures of him. At Old Faithful and Japanese guy even stopped us so he could take a picture of Logan. It was hilarious.
Isaac checking out the Buffalo with his binoculars. Notice he is holding them the wrong way.
We were lucky and saw two grizzly bears about 10 miles apart. This one wasn't very big and we wonder if it was a cub and the mom was somewhere close too. The other one we saw was farther away and really hard to see without binoculars so I didn't get a picture of it but it was huge and eating a montrous elk. It was pretty cool to see.

we didn't go to the sea lion caves, after I read that comment I called the front desk of the hotel, they said that about an hour south of us. I wish I would have known we could have done that yesterday. That sounds so fun! :) Its beautiful and SO green here!
